I admire Ancient Egypt archaeology. I have shared a post about Egypt here. The most admiring archaelogical constructions for me are pyramids in Egypt. And they are still mysterious. Experts have analyzed secrets and construction styles of these architectural wonders.

The pyramids affect people even if they aren’t interested in Egypt archaeology. These gorgeous constructions are heritage from ancient world and there is still lots of unknown info about them. Although researchers have tried to solve mystery, uncovered secrets cause our question marks.

Huge heavy stones of pyramids

Archaeologists think about pyramids of Egypt that they were built nearly 4500 years ago. They are really difficult to be constructed even today. Ancient people have constructed more than one hundred pyramids in Egypt to immortalize their pharaohs’ names. The pyramids are monumental tombs and they hide mystery and information about ancient Egypt. The most important pyramids in Egypt are Giza Pyramids and they are among The Seven Wonders of the World.

Bent pyramid

All pyramid in Egypt is handmade. Ancient people built different constructions similar to pyramids 5000 years earlier than Giza Pyramids. They must have tried to give a perfect shape to their works. These constructions were like prototypes of the last pyramids. And they were basic and rectangle. With Pharaoh Djoser’s reign, workers have begun to build complex and multilayered pyramids. This information below is an estimation.

The stones used for The Great Pyramid have been brought from a stone pit which locates south of the area. Researchers discovered here in 1985. Nature has helped to carry these heavy stones. Egypt sand gets slippery when it gets wet. Thanks to a sled system and wet desert sand, stones has been easily taken to the construction zone.

But there is still a mystery. How did workers lift these heavy stones? I am desperate to learn. If you want to learn more, please watch the video. Thanks for reading.

Hello dear readers. My name is Alexandra May and I am a 29 year old female from New York. Actually, I’m from Massachusetts. But, I live in NY. I’m a teacher at a high school. Yes, you have read right. I’m not an archeologist. I’m crazy about it. It is my favourite hobby. Meeting an old object under the ground and touching it many years and centuries later is a miracle. It is like you are talking to the past. I love Ancient Egypt Civilization the most. So, if I write about Egypt too much, please forgive me and keep reading. See you soon.
