They have also had medical practice ways. It is obvious that healers of old ages have affected today’s world health methods and system.I want to explain the past of six medical inventions that is used every day. In 1853, a Scottish doctor named Alexander Wood, created first hypodermic syringe. But there are other tools which has an older history than this. Before colonization, Indian people could inject liq into bodies. They have used a sharpened empty bird bone which can hold liq in it and which is tied to an animal bladder (I imagine a kind of primitive serum.). These syringes have been used for too many cures like injecting medicines into bodies, keeping wounds wet, cleaning ears, and enema.
American Indian healers are among the best of the world about killing the pain. For instance, it is commonly known that willow crust is anti-inflammative and people swallow willow crust to kill pain. It consists salicin. Salicin is a chemical and when it is consumed, it affects body as aspirin does. Capsaicine(a chemical derived from pepper) and datura stromonlum(trımpet flower) are two effective painkillers Indians have used.

Modern oral birth control pills were first used in 1960s to prevent pregnancy. But many years before 60s, Indians had had practices similar to this. Herbal based practices(like chewing american herp and gromwell) had existed 200 years older than modern medicines. Even if they weren’t as effective as modern oral contraception, they had contraceptive qualities.
Indians of North America uses more than 2500 kinds of herb for medical aims. For hundreds of years, most of Indian cultures mix ground herbs and water to protect skin from sunburn. They have used essences of sunflower oil, wallflower, and aloe for skin protection. They have also used adeps taken from fish as sunscreen.
Nobody can tell it is hygenic and safe according to modern standards. But Indians of America have made bottles to feed their babies earlier than us. The tool is made from bird and bear pieces. After they have cleaned, dried, and oiled bear bowel, they have attached an eviscerated feather as a nipple. So, they could feed the baby with a mixture of meat and water.
The tribes in America continent have used some kinds of plants and methods for dental care. In some areas, mouth gargle is made from the herb named gold thread to clean mouth. Also, many Indian cultures have used this herb for killing dental pain of babies during teethe.
